As one of the key tenants moving into the new Alluvion Building, Clough required this project to be completed as an integrated fitout during the construction phase of the building.
Given that the construction site was operated by a third party, CDI Group was required to adopt and implement the site regulations and requirements of the head contractor (Broad) and report to it on a regular basis concerning all our OHS & statistics. Broad audited us on a regular and random basis and ensured we maintained a high level of safety for the duration of our time on site.
Another requirement of the project was the staged delivery of each floor. Clough required the floors to be delivered at two week intervals, allowing the client to take possession of each area. The high-level finishes of the project demanded the co-operation and co-ordination of all sub-contractors, including the building incumbent service trades. This required a well-maintained program and clear communication between all parties to ensure that the project was delivered on time and on budget whilst maintaining our OHS&E requirements to Broad. We developed a strong relationship with Clough as a result of our reliable, high-quality and professional service on this project. CDI Group is now considered the preferred contractor for this client, and we continue to deliver projects for Clough at a variety of locations.
