Wesfarmers Executive

After completing the refurbishment of levels 6, 7, 10 and 11 of Wesfarmers House for Wesfarmers in 2009, CDI Group were again called upon to deliver the L12 executive floor. This is the building’s top floor, with an amazing view overlooking the Swan River. Woods Bagot had designed a space that reflected the calibre of the staff as well as the visitors that would occupy the area. Being the executive floor of the head office of one of Australia’s blue-chip companies, it was important that a level of sophistication, quality, refinement and detail was achieved.

The project was completed over the December / January period of 2010/2011, which presented its own challenges. CDI Group had to ensure it had the full commitment of not only its own staff, but also the network of sub-contractors and suppliers that would be relied upon to deliver this bespoke environment over the traditional industry holiday period. The project was completed within a very tight timeframe, to a superior level of detail, including beautifully crafted bespoke joinery, curved and straight veneered wall panelling, individually crafted timber door and window frames, custom carpets, bespoke ceilings, handcrafted furniture, extensive audio-visual installations, and customised artwork lighting. CDI Group delivered a space that reflected the vision proposed by Woods Bagot, which complemented Wesfarmers’ amazing and extensive art collection and created a distinctive and unique working environment.
