    Founded in 1990 by Garry Wright, CDI Group has grown into a market leader in commercial construction, fit-out and refurbishment. Garry is well known for his signature ‘Garry-isms’—memorable sayings that have left a lasting impression on our team, like, “Get the black and white paint out,” “Don’t say I should or might; say I will or I can,” and “Phone calls are for relationships; emails are for records.” His dedication to CDI is unmatched, inspiring everyone around him with his passion for our projects, clients, and team.     Dean plays a key role in guiding CDI’s operations and project delivery, overseeing teams and projects across the business to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients. With a strong focus on leadership, coordination and disciplined delivery, he helps maintain the standards of safety, performance and reliability that CDI is known for.

    A qualified Structural Engineer and Registered Building Practitioner with over a decade of industry experience, Dean brings deep technical knowledge and practical construction insight to the role. His experience across commercial, health, fitout and defence sectors allows him to support teams, navigate complex challenges and drive strong outcomes across the organisation.
