  • The purpose of this statement is to outline CDI’s approach to ensuring ethical and lawful (per Modern Slavery Act 2018) business operations and to protect those who are vulnerable to slavery risks within our supply chain.

Members of CDI’s supply chain (applicable subcontractor and suppliers) are required to report on ethical and sustainable procurement and labour practice per this policy and provide a written response to Annexure A. Subcontracting companies engaged by CDI Group are governed by the legal requirements of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth); which provides that all employees receive minimum rate of pay and acceptable working conditions including free from adverse treatment e.g., discrimination, harassment, and bullying.

CDI’s modern slavery framework consists of the following:

    1. Commitment – standards defined and communicated internally and externally.

    2. Action – supplier evaluation, self-disclosure, concern reporting, training, and preparedness.

    3. Governance – monitoring reporting elements/ regulatory compliance, industrial notifications. Internal and external stakeholders are encouraged to report any concern or grievance.

A report can be raised with any member of CDI, however, if anonymity is preferable, concerns can be raised in writing to the HR Manager, PO BOX 7460, Cloisters Square WA 6850. All concerns will be investigated appropriately. If a routine review or investigation (e.g., following a report) determine non-compliance or inappropriate activity, CDI will enact a firm and responsible response to demonstrate its position against unlawful engagement of personnel.
