CDI Group provided the fit-out for Byford Station, as part of the METRONET Byford Rail Extension Project. Strategically located 400 meters north of Abernethy Road, the new ground-level station has been built within the existing rail corridor. The station’s design pays homage to its Noongar heritage, with its place name, Beenyup, reflecting the area’s historical significance as the ‘Place for digging for the warrain (native potatoes).’

Byford Station is set to become a cornerstone of community life. The project is designed to foster a sense of place and belonging, with a focus on creating safe, attractive spaces that encourage connection and engagement.
