Inspired by Western Australia’s distinctive lifestyle and design vernacular, CDI Group was engaged under a Design and Construction contract to deliver the cold shell base build and full fitout of Dexus Place. The project was undertaken under the direction of APP, in collaboration with Arup and Girvan Waugh.

Dexus Place is a premium flexible workspace, conference venue, and event facility, constructed within a live tenanted building. The project involved complex coordination, with multiple contractors operating simultaneously across the same floor under varying contract arrangements.

Despite the challenges, including delivering four separable portions and concurrently completing works for another tenant on the same level (who became operational mid-project), CDI successfully navigated the intricacies of staging, live-site management, and high-end delivery.

Practical Completion was achieved on time, with the client and end users thrilled with the result — a sophisticated, functional space featuring premium finishes and seamless integration of services.
