CDI Group was engaged to complete the fitout of the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany following the administration of the original contractor responsible for the architectural construction works.

As the first Hilton Garden Inn in Australia, the hotel features 108 rooms across a variety of configurations including King, Twin, Accessible, and Family suites — many with sweeping views of the marina or ocean.

CDI’s scope included the completion of all guest facilities, such as the ground floor restaurant, an adjacent bar and lounge, a 160m² flexible event space that can be divided into three meeting rooms, a self-service 'grab and go' bar, laundry facilities, and a fitness centre.

Operating in regional WA and during the COVID-19 period brought its share of challenges. However, where possible, CDI re-engaged original subcontractors to ensure continuity and local engagement. Despite the complexities, the project was delivered to a high standard — contributing to the successful launch of this landmark hospitality offering in Albany.
